Arms and Arms: תפילין, the 6 Day War, and רבינו תם all in one

As previously mentioned we all had the honor of witnessing a tremendous presentation by our very own Magid Shiur Mendel Weinbaum. The main topic was tefillin, and he marvelously connected it to The Rebbe, The 6 Day War, and even the opposers of mivtzoim. Here are a few snidbits from his presentation.

Tisha B'av in צפת

Bochurim following along during Rabbi Chaim Kaplan's beautiful rendition of Eicha
Apparently even Tisha B'av is happening at  ישיבת קיץ צפת, between the davening, eicha, kinos, and the special videos it was a jam-packed day (would've been nice if they allowed bean throwing).

Getting ready for a successful day of Mivtzoim

Over these last several days we had the oppurtunity to visit local shops and businesses (for mivtzoim of course), as well as a visit to the Arizal's  קבר and mikvah.  This was all in addition to the special oppurtunity to have our friends and relatives visit us on Sunday.
